Where does the data come from? +
All data comes from official institutional sources: European Environment Agency (EEA) for Natura 2000, SPW Wallonia for flood zones and land-use plans, GBIF for protected species, NASA/ESA for Sentinel-2 and MODIS satellite data, and VMM for Flanders.
Does GeoEnvData cover all of Belgium? +
Yes. GeoEnvData covers all 3 Belgian regions: Wallonia (SPW), Flanders (VMM, Gewestplan) and Brussels (Bruxelles Environnement, PRAS).
Is my data secure? +
Yes. All communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Analysed zones and reports are stored securely on our servers in Europe. We comply with GDPR and never share your data with third parties.
